Someone mentioned poisons earlier. I usually don't use them, but I've got lots. I just didn't bring any along with me again, just to keep the load as light as possible. I nick named it the wand, because it only has like 12charges or something, but itll kill anything.
This is a recipe for disaster as they are known to become corrupt over time. Keeping multiple saves is always a good idea. This way when trouble happens, either mod related, crash during save, or any other unforeseen event, you have something to fall back on.
As for the ship wreck, try to exit it and see if the wraiths follows you out some times they do, but you might have to wait a little. That gives you some freedom and distance to those things… If you are on pc, install the attack and hide mod for later events. I did end up finding a way out, and one of them did follow me, but I just took off running back to Bravil rather than sticking around trying to kill him with some more room to maneuver.
